CRISAFULLI GRADE FIVE CHORUS
All Grade Five students are welcomed and encouraged to join Crisafulli Grade Five Chorus.
There is no audition and students simply must be willing and able to attend rehearsal once per week before school on Tuesday mornings as well as to participate in performances held during the school year.
Rehearsals consist of vocal exercises and warm-ups as well as beginning choral repertoire including unison treble pieces, rounds, partner songs and some beginning two-part pieces.
Typically, there are many special parts during performances including speakers, soloists, dancers and actors. Grade Five Chorus is a lot of fun and a safe place to explore vocal skills and development before making decisions on musical direction for Middle and High School years.

Grade Five Chorus has many performance opportunities throughout the year. These include the Winter Concert in December, All-Town Vocal Night in March, the Spring Chorus Concert in April, Memorial Day in May, the Grade Five
Musical Play, an Encore Spring Chorus performance at Robinson in June and singing at the Grade Five
Completion Program on the last day of school. Please check out the blog page on this web-site for more detailed
information about performances.
It is wonderful to watch and hear the musical growth that happens in Chorus during the Grade Five year! Any student who might be interested in trying out Chorus, should be encouraged to do so. At the Middle School level, students have to pick either Chorus, Band, Orchestra or General Music for their Music class. Grade Five is the last year that students can try out more than one option (e.g. Chorus and Band or Chorus and Orchestra) to discover where their interest is strongest.
